System Locks

Learn how to use the system lock info area.

You can lock the system for some or all users, allowing you to:

  • Back up your database
    Note: Use the programs supplied with MS SQL or Oracle to back up the Aurea CRM database.
  • Edit the data model, see Data Model.
  • Rebuild corrupt indices, see Rebuild module
  • Perform maintenance, see Maintenance Module
  • Reduce system load if you are experiencing performance issues (e.g. by logging off certain users and locking them out of the system for a period of time)
