Editing a Process

Learn how to edit a process.

When editing items in a process, remember the following:

• If a description is entered for an item that has been added to the package more than once, the description applies to all references to the item. Deleting the last reference to an item also removes the item description.
• Adding items from the data model (custom catalogs and info areas) automatically includes the complete data model in the process, unless the Do not include all dependencies option is set for the item. The data model is only included in the package once. However, it makes sense to add individual catalogs and info areas manually in order to document them.
• Adding a designer unit automatically adds the complete designer configuration to the package. The designer configuration is only included in the package once. However, it makes sense to add individual designer units manually in order to document them.
