Working in other Languages

Learn how to change languages in CRM.cockpit.

When logging on to CRM.cockpit, you can select the language used to display the names of items in the CRM database. You can choose any of the languages assigned to the current station.

Note: The user interface is still displayed in English.

To change the language in which items are displayed:

  1. Run the application.
  2. Click on Expand/Reduce.

    The login window is expanded and the Language drop-down list is displayed.

  3. Select the desired language from the list.
  4. Log in to the application.
    Note: Your language settings are remembered and restored the next time CRM.cockpit is started. The current language is displayed in the About box (select HelpAbout CRM.cockpit from the menu).
  5. Click on Check Unit Availability to update names and catalog entries to the new language.
Note: The Language drop-down list is only available if at least two languages are assigned to the current station. If no languages are defined for the station, English is used by default. If the previously selected language is no longer available, English is also used by default.You can also start CRM.cockpit in a different language with the following command line parameter:-l <language ID>For a list of language IDs, >> Language IDs in the Appendix of the CRM.core Administrator Guide.
