Use a Mobile Device During an Activation

For Mobile Continuity, during a disruption of your normal email service and after administrators have activated Email Continuity, you will receive a URL to access Mobile Continuity. The notification will be a text message to your mobile device and/or an email to your personal address, depending on what information you registered with AMSEmail Continuity when your account was created.

NOTE

Access to your emergency mailbox is disabled. Please use primary email system.

This message means that Mobile Webmail is not currently activated by your administrators.

If your normal email system is available, please use it. If your normal email system is unavailable, try accessing Mobile Webmail later, after giving your administrators time to activate the Mobile Webmail interface.

If you are using a mobile device to access your emergency mailbox when an activation of Email Continuity occurs, the system detects the device and presents a simplified interface for you to access your mail. From your mobile device, you can read, compose, send emails, view Calendar information and your contacts.

If your device is not autodetected, click the Mobile Browser Login link on the login page to switch to the mobile device interface.

NOTE

From a mobile device you can use the standard browser or the mobile version of Mobile Continuity.

See Mobile Access for more information on mobile apps.
