Set Global Options

Global options affect your webmail account for all services, including mail, contacts, or calendar.

Set global options:
  1. Log in to Email Continuity. The Email Continuity Home page appears, showing that Email Continuity is Active.
  2. Access your Webmail account.
  3. From the left sidebar navigation menu, expand Options, then click Global Options. The Global Options page appears.

  1. To remove all of your personalized settings and reset all Global Options to the defaults set by your organization, click Reset All Preferences.
  2. NOTE

    Resetting all of these preferences will permanently delete any Global Options you have set, and you will have to manually reset them if you do not want to keep your organization’s default options.

  3. To set locale, time, and date display options, click Locale and Time. See the table below for details about each option.
  4. To save the options you’ve set, click Save Options. Or click Undo Changes to undo the changes you’ve made and stay on the current page, or click Return to Options to return to the Global Options page without saving your changes.

Your current time zone

Default or a list of world-wide choices

Choose Default to accept the default time zone set by your organization, or use the drop-down list to set your time zone. Choose a country and city combination that matches your time zone.

Display 24-hour times?

Selected (box is checked) or not selected (box is empty)

Check this box to display times in 24-hour clock format (for example, 18:00). Leave this box empty/unchecked to display times in a 12-hour format (for example, 6:00 PM).

Choose the date display that you would like to use. You can choose only one.
