Expiration Process

The expiration process begins when a training record reaches its expiration date.

Tip: If training expires for a training record and a trainee is no longer in a role that requires training on an associated document, the expiration date is cleared, the workflow is not started and the record status remains with the status Trained.

When the expiration date is reached, the following activities occur:

  • Training record status is set to Active
  • Expiration workflow is initiated
  • System clears the following dates:
    • Date Training Started
    • Date Trained
    • Date Training Expires
