Contact Persons

When adding a contact person at a company, enter their contact data at the company (e.g. their corporate e-mail address and telephone extension).

  1. You can add contact persons as follows:
    • Select (Accounts) > New Contact Person. Find and select the company (or add a new company) the contact person should be added to. The person mask is displayed.
    • Switch to the desired company, click on Persons in the tree and then click on (New Contact Person) in the search results.
  2. Enter person’s company-specific details (e.g. Function and contact data at the company). The company’s telephone number is automatically entered as a suggestion for the person’s number. You then only need to add their extension.
  3. Save the record. Contact persons are displayed in the Persons node of the company tree.

  • Select Set as "Private Customer" from the contact person’s context menu to determine that this person is also a private customer. If a contact person is also a private customer, select Open Private Customer from the context menu to switch to the private customer’s tree view.
  • All the person’s roles are listed on the All Roles tab under Related Data.
  • Click on (New Role in Another Company) to add a new role for the person at a different company, see Private Customers and Roles.
  • All activities linked to the person’s role are listed at the bottom of the All Roles tab. This includes any activities with the person as a private customer.
