Set User Details

User details include your name, email address, weekend days, time zone, and business hours start and end.

When AlertFind is deployed, certain information, such as work hours and weekend days, is set to your company’s default settings. If allowed by your company, you can change this information. For example, you might want to set the time of day that you start and end work, or your personal weekend days (perhaps you are off on Monday and Tuesday, instead of Saturday and Sunday). AlertFind uses this information to determine which personal escalation is in effect at any time.

To define user details for your account:

  1. From the Email Continuity home page, click the Configure Notification & Contact Settings link, then in the User Details section, click the Configure notification settings link.
  2. The AlertFind User Overview page appears.

  3. Click the Edit button. The Edit User Overview page appears.
  4. To change your name, type your name in the Full Name field.
  5. The Description field can be used for many things. If your company has a policy regarding what type of information should be recorded in the Description field (such as CPR-trained), type that information in the field. Otherwise, you can leave this field blank.
  6. Use the Primary Email Address field to change your primary email address, which is used for all password resets or reminders. This field is required. By default, this is your work email address.
  7. The Status section is automatically populated by the system, and there are no changes for you to make.
  8. Under the Preferences section, you can set your Hotline preferences, including your preferred Hotline Phone Number and Preferred Voice.
  9. These settings only set the voice and language for notifications you receive. The voice and language you hear when you call into the Hotline is determined by the Hotline phone number. Your organization may have multiple phone numbers for multiple languages. Contact your AlertFind administrator or team leader to request a Hotline phone number for a different language.

  10. Click Save to save your changes and return to the User Overview page.

NOTE

Your AlertFind Hotline phone number(s) and usernames appear on this page but cannot be edited.
