Insert trigger action

The Segments > Insert Trigger > Action tab allows you to set an action for your segment.

The table below explains the options available in Insert trigger action tab:

Field Name Description
Action

This is used to select the action to create the trigger. These can be opened, clicked on any url in, visited any page or purchased after. This refers to the type of action to occur in the mailing that causes the mailing to be sent
Mailing

This is used to select the desired mailing or any mailing from the drop-down menu
Trigger will send to this member

The trigger can either send the mailing to the member that performed the set action in the selected mailing every time, or only the first time

For example, if you want to send the triggered mailing only once, after the first time they have opened the desired mailing, then this would be set to the first time. If every time is selected, and the member happens to open the mailing more than once, the triggered mailing is sent each time
