Supported platforms for Aurea List Manager
Aurea List Manager connects to and uses your database with the exception of MSDE (Microsoft Data Engine).
Important
No technical support is provided for installation, using, maintenance of MS SQL or Oracle. Contact your database vendor for more information about support for these databases.
Note
ListManager has been tested using 32-bit and 64-bit machines.
Supported operating systems and database servers
Windows
Supported versions
- Windows 2000/XP/2003/2008/7 Standard Server
- Windows Server 2008 is supported R1 and R2
- Windows Server 2012
- Windows Server 2016
Note
Windows 2003 Server Web edition is not supported for Microsoft SQL server, as Microsoft SQL Client Tools cannot be installed on this platform.
Supported database servers
The database servers Aurea List Manager supports are below :
- Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition (Make sure named pipes and TCP are enabled)
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 SP4, 2005, 2008 (R1 and R2), 2012, 2014 and 2016
- Oracle 10gR1 and 10gR2 , and 11g (using a 32 bit client toolset)
Linux
Supported versions
Red Hat Linux ES, AS and WS versions 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 5.11, 5.2, 6, 6.7 and 7.
Supported database servers
Oracle 10gR1, 10gR2 and 11g (using a 32 bit client toolset)
Note
If you are installing AS 4, you need to also install the following:
# rpm -Uvh compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-47.3.i386.rpm
Note
Aurea List Manager can use up to 31 IP addresses.
Important
Fedora core is not supported.
Web browsers
The following web browsers are officially supported:
- Internet Explorer (7 to present)
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox (25 to present)
- Google Chrome (31 to present)
- Safari (5.1 to present)
Note
Netscape 8.1 is not officially supported, but should work.
Note
HTML Editor does not work for Netscape 8.1 or Safari.
