Configuring Offline Stations

After automatically adding all necessary data, a data stock download is output the next time data is output for the offline station (i.e. you can start communication without needing to specify the –u parameter).

The Initialize offline station check box in the offline user’s rep record is disabled once the data is output. All subsequent outputs thus generates "normal" communication files.

Setting up the offline station for Aurea CRM win is then identical to the process described in Data Stock Download.

When inputting a data stock download on the offline station, any existing data is deleted before the input process begins. Any older communication files that are present are also deleted.

Resetting existing offline stations

  1. Enable the Initialize offline station in the offline user’s rep record. (The Offline user field must also be enabled.)

When next outputting communication data for the station, a data stock download is created.

  2. Output data from the offline station to the server before inputting the data stock download.
  3. Input the data stock download. The database on the offline station is automatically deleted in the process.

Disabling offline users

If the Offline user check box in a rep record is disabled or if such a rep is deleted, the Output field in the corresponding communication connection (server -> offline station) is disabled automatically. Data is no longer output for the station.

The Input field remains enabled to be able to input the offline station’s final data.

If a rep is set as Inactive, the Offline user field is also automatically disabled.
