Access Email
- On the Home Page tap Access Email.
- You are taken to the Inbox screen on the Current Mail tab.
NOTE
To view deleted, sent, or draft messages, click the Folders button at the top of the screen, then click the folder you wish to view: Inbox, Drafts, Sent, or Trash.
NOTE
- Messages with the yellow background are unread, and messages with a white background are those that have been read.
- Messages shown in the Inbox include only those received since the time the service was activated for you.
- Tap on a message to view its contents.
The Refresh button displays any new messages that have arrived.
The Compose button creates a new email message.
You can perform typical email message actions by using the toolbar in the commands area of the screen:
- Reply - Allows you to compose a response to the person who sent the message.
- Reply All - Allows you to compose a response to the person who sent the message, as well as all other recipients.
- Forward - Allows you to send the message and its attachments to another person.
- Delete - Allows you to move the message to the Trash folder.
NOTE
- While the Continuity system is active, messages in the Trash folder cannot be permanently deleted.
- Deleted messages will be copied to the Trash folder of your primary email system, and can be permanently deleted when normal email service has been restored.
When viewing a saved messages in the Drafts folder, an additional action is available:
- Resume - Takes you to the Compose screen to continuing editing the draft email message.
NOTE
If the compose button is not visible it means the continuity has finished and your account is in the Recovery state.
Opening any email will give you this message:
- To return to the first page of your Inbox, tap the Current Mail tab.
