Executing the Analysis

Learn how to execute the analysis and display results.

Click (Start) to execute the analysis.

The results of the analysis are displayed in a table.

  • Sum: The sum total for all records that fall within the defined range of possible values defined for your analysis unit.
  • Sum Total: The sum total for all records, including those outside the range (in the example above, this would be companies in other countries from those listed).

Use the following options to change the view:

  • Select Percent, Absolute or Totals from the drop-down list to determine the data displayed in the table.
  • Select < or > from the context menu to edit the table width.
  • Select Diagram from the context menu to display the analysis as a bar chart:

    The following buttons are available when displaying a chart:

    • Options: Opens the Options dialog box, see Options.
    • Zoom: Opens the chart in a second window which can be resized.
    • Pie Chart / Bar Chart: Switches between a bar chart and pie chart.

    • Percent / Absolute: Switches between displaying percentages and absolute values.
  • Sub-analysis: Switches to the results of the sub-analysis. The <, >, Diagram and Transfer options are again available from the context menu in the sub-analysis.

  • Transfer: Transfers the chart and data to your spreadsheet.
  • Click (Level back) to return to the Analysis Format info area. The date the analysis is last carried out is entered in the Date field. The following options are available from the context menu to export the results or display them again: Table, Diagram, Sub-analysis, Transfer.
