Accessing Levels with Buttons

To define buttons used to access other levels:

  1. Click on (New) under Special in the Header tab.

    The Header Properties window opens.

  2. Enable the View option.
  3. Select the desired level from the drop-down list. All levels linked to the current level are listed.

If the desired level is unavailable:

  4. Determine which modes the button is active in (View, New and Edit).
  5. Enter a letter in the Hotkey field. This defines the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Letter for the button.
  6. Click on OK.

The defined buttons are displayed under Special and can be edited and deleted using the (Edit) and (Delete) buttons.

Note: Buttons are not displayed if they access levels to which access is denied or info levels which have been deleted in the data model.
