Accessing Levels with Buttons
To define buttons used to access other levels:
- Click on
(New) under Special in the Header tab.
The Header Properties window opens.
- Enable the View option.
- Select the desired level from the drop-down list. All levels linked to the current
level are listed.
If the desired level is unavailable:
- Define a new dependent level, see Defining New Levels.
- Define a link to the desired target level, see Links Tab.
- Determine which modes the button is active in (View, New and Edit).
- Enter a letter in the Hotkey field. This defines the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Letter for the button.
- Click on OK.
The defined buttons are displayed under Special and can be edited and deleted using the
(Edit) and
(Delete) buttons.
Note:
Buttons are not displayed if they access levels to which access is denied or info levels which have been deleted in the data model.
