Upgrading and your database server
From Aurea List Manager 7.8, the database structure was optimized to be more scalable. These changes make mailing speeds on database servers with sufficient hardware faster than ever.
However, underpowered database servers may have performance problems before upgrading from 7.6 or earlier. For more information, see Requirements and Recommendations to determine whether your database server meets the requirements.
Aurea List Manager also uses more database space than previous versions, and the upgrade may take a long time to perform. For more information, see Preparing to Upgrade for instructions about how to reduce the size of your database before upgrading.
