Basic Functions

The available functions and data access in CRM.pad depend on your rights and configuration.

For example, sales reps have access to different data than service technicians.

Search
The data you access on your device is generally restricted to only the data you require for your daily work.
Viewing Records
Learn how to view records on CRM.pad.
Adding and Editing Records
Depending on your access rights and configuration, you can edit or add records.
Copying Field Content
You can copy the content of some fields with a long tap on the field.
Predefined Filters
Predefined filters are available in many areas. If you select a filter, the search result is limited to the records that meet the filter criteria.
Documents
Documents are available in some info areas (depending on your version and your configuration).
Uploading Pictures
You can upload pictures you have taken with your iPad to the CRM database.
Participants
You can add internal or external participants to certain records such as activities or opportunities.
Sending E-Mails
You can send e-mails directly from some areas in CRM.pad, e.g. if an e-mail address has been entered for a person.
Favorites
You can add records that you use frequently to your Favorites.
Quick Add
The quick add is available to enter data in several records without opening each one of them.
Viewing and Using Analyses
Analyses are based upon queries and display the resulting records in an aggregated form including a graphical representation of relationships.
