Access Rights

Learn to define rights for document info areas.

Defining access rights for Document info areas (D1/D2/D3):

  • Users need Update rights for D1 for the record selector icon to be displayed, i.e. if Deny Update is defined for D1, users can neither edit existing nor upload new documents in document fields or the Document info area itself.
  • If Deny Access is defined for D1, document fields display "Access denied" and D3 records are not displayed.
  • To hide all D3 SubLists, define Deny Access for the D3 info area.
