Select EditOptions from the menu to edit the options.

The following options are available:

Hide "Check Availability" dialog

Prior to checking the availability of units in the package, a dialog box is displayed, informing you that the process may take a long while. You can choose to cancel the process from the dialog box.

If you enable the Hide "Check Availability" dialog option, this dialog box is no longer displayed.

You can also prevent the dialog box from subsequently being displayed by enabling the Do not show this question again check box in the dialog box itself. If you do so, you can determine that the dialog box should be displayed again by disabling the Hide "Check Availability" dialog option.

Hide “Replace File” dialog

Use this option to suppress the dialog box displayed when importing a package, if a file in the package is already present. If this option is enabled, files are overwritten automatically.

Hide "Matchup" and "Summary" dialog during import

Use this option to skip the match-up step when importing a package and to suppress the Summary dialog. Data in the package being imported automatically overwrites data in the database if this option is enabled.

Don't display refresh dialog during export if all items are available

Enable this option to determine that the refresh dialog (Current status of referenced items) should not be displayed when exporting a package if all necessary items are available in the database. In this case, the dialog is only displayed if package items are missing in the database.

Note: This setting only affects the export; the dialog is still displayed when checking the availability of items manually using the Check Unit Availability option.

Do not include all dependencies for package items

This option determines that formats, info areas and catalogs added to the package are added without including their related items. This is the same as enabling the Do not include all dependencies option for all items, see Adding Items to a Process . This option is intended for applying updates to existing items in the package where the dependent items have not been changed. The dependent items still need to be present on the target system (i.e. from a previous import), otherwise the import fails.
