Activating the Smart Document Feature
The Smart Document feature is activated at a site level, allowing the system to have unique document configurations for each site.
To activate Smart Document:
- Log in to the site where the feature has to be activated.
- Select Site Settings from the Site Actions menu.
- Click on the Manage site features link under the Site Actions section.
- Click on the Activate button to the right of NextDocs Smart Document Feature.
Activating the Smart Document feature creates lists and libraries and populates their associated links to the Tree View section below the Quick Launch bar. This includes the NextDocs Master Template Library, the NextDocs Template Library, the Content Type List, and the Document Inventory List.
