Moving your Aurea List Manager license

The Aurea List Manager license is only valid for one server. In case you need to move your Aurea List Manager server (or if you want to change the network card), you need to deactivate your current Aurea List Manager activation code before activating it for your new server.

Clearing activation code on an old Aurea List Manager server

1. Stop Aurea List Manager.
2. Open a command prompt, change to theAurea List Manager directory, and run the following command to clear the activation code:

lm clearactivation.

Getting a new activation code on a new Aurea List Manager server

The activation code is automatically updated within 24 hours. It can also be activated immediately by running getactivation from the command line. Follow the steps below to get a new activation code:

1. Stop Aurea List Manager.
2. Open a command prompt, change to the Aurea List Manager directory, and run the following command to get a new activation code:

lm getactivation.

3. Your Aurea List Manager activation code would have been updated.
