Version Specific

Version specific binding rules apply only to major version documents. An user cannot bind a minor version of a document to another document using a version specific relationship type. Both a parent document and a child document must be in a major version state in order to be bound. If the parent document selected for the relationship is in a minor version, the relationship type is not displayed for selection. If the child document selected is in a minor version, the system displays a message indicating that the relationship could not be created.
