Document Relationship Types
Learn how to create, manage and audit documents relationships.
Document relationships are created based upon the selected Document Relationship Type property. The Document Relationship Type property defines how the documents are related and who is permitted to create and manage the relationship.
The relationship type defines the type of relationship that is used to bind the documents and establishes the rules for parent document to child document configurations.
Only one relationship of a specific type can exist between two documents, but that does not preclude multiple relationship types from being established between the documents.
