Containers

The explorer tab contains a Quick Launch Bar that groups the requirements into three (3) containers: Trial Documents Container; Country Documents Container; and Site Documents Container. An additional container, Product, contains a link to all product documentation that is located on the hub for the product(s) included in the trial.

The Containers are like libraries or folders in that they hold items that have the same properties. For example, the Trial Documents Container holds all of the trial level requirements. The expansion icon lets the user know that the container has existing requirements. Notice that the Site Documents Container does not have an expansion icon. This site does not yet have any trial sites and, therefore, no site requirements were added. Trial site requirements are not added to the system until a trial site is added to the Investigational Sites list on the SharePoint trial site.

Containers can be expanded to display either the requirements or additional, more finite, containers.

Embedded containers will be displayed on the Quick Launch Bar, while the requirements in the selected container will be displayed on the explorer grid to the right of the Quick Launch Bar. The selected path at the top of the grid indicates the location in the grid relative to the top down container structure.
