Approval Task Page

The approval task page contains a textbox which identifies the document to be approved. The textbox identifies the properties, including document name, title, version number, and author and provides a link to the document, and a link to the document’s metadata (Additional Details).

To complete the approval, the user will:

  1. Access the task.
  2. On the task page, click on the document name to open the document for review.
    Tip: Optionally, close the document and click on the Additional Details link to review the document’s metadata.
  3. Click on either Approve or Reject.
  4. Enter a valid password.
  5. Select a Reason.
  6. When finished, he or she must provide comments for the author in the Comments textbox and click on the “Submit” button to complete the approval task.
