Assigning Telephone Profiles

Learn to assign the profiles to the users.

Once telephone profiles are defined, you need to assign the profile to the users. The profiles can be assigned to individual reps, groups or stations.

A profile assigned to a user takes precedence over profiles assigned to groups or stations. Group profiles take precedence over station profiles. In other words, the station profile is only used if neither a rep or group profile has been assigned to a rep.

You can assign further profiles in addition to the default profile.

To assign CRM.phone profiles to users and groups:

  1. Open the Rights module.
  2. Switch to the Rep info area.

  3. Select the default telephone profile under Default Telephone Profile.
  4. Select any additional profiles available to this rep or group under Telephone Profiles. Users can then select the desired profile when logging on to Aurea.CRM.
  5. Save your changes.
Note: Telephone profiles are assigned to stations using the same fields in the Station info area.
