Using CRM.phone with Terminal Servers

You can operate CRM.phone in combination with Aurea.CRM web on a terminal server.

In this case, multiple users access the same installation of Aurea.CRM web and CRM.phone on the server.

This solution is also used on client installations if several users work on a computer, e.g. in call centers with multiple shifts.

Each user requires a unique CRM.phone-specific .ini and .txt files. When a user logs on to Aurea.CRM web for the first time, the following files are added to the directory containing mmupdatephone.dll with an appropriate suffix:
  • upPhone_<LoginName>.ini
  • uppTapiExt_<LoginName>.ini
  • uppHistory_<LoginName>.txt
  • uppHotKeys_<LoginName>.txt

Whereby <LoginName> is replaced with the user name in web.
