List Control

You can control the Fields of a record displayed in a list and the Sort Field used to sort the records displayed in the list.

Lists are displayed in CRM.Client as shown below. Both lists use the (same) list control.

• A list displaying search results:
  
  
  
• A list displaying child info area records in the parent info area's Details page (for example, all the contact persons of a Company):
  
  
  

Notice the color coded bars on the left of the listed items in the screenshots above. The records can also display logos of their info area. The color coding and the logos for the info area are configured in the Expand Configuration.

The fields you selected are displayed in the same order as they are configured in the designer. You can combine the content of several fields with the ColSpan option, see Combining Field Values. You can also define whether a field is defined in bold or in a specific Field Color, see Field Attributes.
