Control Print Summary Records

A control print summary record contains the controlled print activity details of a document. Each column of the summary record is sortable.

Column Description Comments
Print ID The Print ID is the document name followed by –X.X-Y where X.X is the version of the document and Y is a sequential number that is incremented to show the number of time the document is printed. Example, if 2 controlled prints are issued for a version 1.0 document, the format is -1.0-2. This also indicates that the report contains 2 summary records, one for each control print issued.
Status The overall status of the printed document with relation to controlled print. Issued –control print is issued.
Reprinted – the document is reprinted after a controlled print was issued.
Expired - a subsequent version of the same document is approved and made effective.
Recalled – a controlled print copy is recalled from circulation.
Last Updated By The last user to perform a controlled print activity on the document.
Label Typically used to define the location where the document is to be printed or referenced. User entered value.
Last Reason The reason given for the last controlled print activity on the document. User entered value.
Reprints The number of times a document is reprinted. This value defaults to 0 until reprint of the controlled copy is issued and does not include the original issue.
First Printed The date and time, with the GMT offset, when the first controlled print was issued. Format example: Thu 17-Jan-2018 14:41:39 GMT/UTC – 5:00
Last Updated The date and time, with the GMT offset, when the status of the controlled print was updated due to subsequent activity such as a reprint, recall, or expiry. Format example: Thu 20-Jan-2018 12:41:22 GMT/UTC – 5:00
