Employee directory search customization
Customization of the Employee Directory search filter and type-ahead quick results display is performed by modifying the Employee Directory web part properties, as below:
The default Employee Directory display and filter properties have a checkbox configuration to enable / disable their use. Additional properties may be configured by populating the corresponding text box with a semi-colon delimited list in the following format:
Display Name:Managed Property
The Display Name may be any alphanumeric text value, while the Managed Property must match what is configured in the search schema section of the search service application.
The above screenshot shows the configuration required to both query as well as display results from the Mobile and Department managed properties.
