Image renditions

Image rendition ensures you get the perfect image used.

When you upload a new image to a SharePoint environment using renditions, such as Bonzai Intranet, the system automatically crops your image into a number of different resolutions to satisfy different uses for this image (see Alter Rendition of Image). You can think of renditions as different “versions” of the same image.

In many of the web parts you see images. Bonzai Intranet automatically ensures that you use an image rendition which is a smaller, pixel-perfect version of the image, so you do not need to get your marketing team to give you an image with the perfect dimensions. Just make sure its larger than the rendition as noted below.

For instance, if you upload a 20MB image to use as the featured image on the slider then you can do that, and we will ensure that we use a smaller rendition on the web part.
