Records with no Effect on Stocks

You can flag stock control item and material order item records as having no effect on stocks (No effect on stock field). Records that have this option enabled are ignored when calculating stocks and during stocktaking, >> Stocks and Stocktaking.

• You can enable or disable the check box as required in stock control item and material order item records.
• Once stock-taking has been performed for material order and stock control items (Stocktaking and Reset options), the No effect on stock field is enabled automatically.
• Stock control items added during stocktaking (Count and Calculate options) are also flagged as having no effect on stocks, >> Stocktaking.
