Search box web part

The Bonzai Intranet Search Box web part provides the ability to search for content in a rich interactive way. It is used instead of the out of the box search box web part as it provides additional capabilities.

Search Box Options

The Bonzai Intranet Search Box web part provides the following options:

Show Search Sort Dropdown - Provides the ability to show or hide the sorting for search. The following options are available for sorting:

• Relevance
• Date (Newest)
• Date (Oldest)
• Lifetime Views
• Recent Views

Search Box Placeholder Text - This is the text that can be visible in the search box to provide additional context to users. This is shown on the search box in a light grey text.

Search Navigation - This shows the navigation tabs that are defined as part of the search settings for the site and mimics the out of the box functionality of SharePoint.
