Recording a Message

Some AlertFind Notifications instruct AlertFind to call you and ask you to record a message to be included with a Notification. When this occurs, the person creating the Notification should contact you beforehand to tell you that you will be receiving a call from Hotline or Hotline Pro.

NOTE

The person composing the Notification cannot send the Notification until you finish your recording. For this reason, you should complete your recording as soon as possible.

When you receive the call from Hotline or Hotline Pro asking you to record a Notification message, AlertFind identifies itself and states that it is calling to record a message. Follow the voice prompts to record your message. Speak slowly and clearly so that recipients of the Notification will be able to understand the message. AlertFind replays the message so that you can confirm it. When you are satisfied with the recording, press 1 on your phone’s keypad to save it.
