FA Reports

The Functional Acknowledgement report displays any overdue or rejected FA transactions within a specific time period.

When choosing Functional Acknowledgement under Report Type, the following filters are available to refine your search:

• From and To – Here you can enter a date and time range to refine the search result.

• Sort By – This filter allows you to sort the search result based on:

  • Timestamp Ascending
  • Timestamp Descending
  • Transaction Set
  • Trading Partner
• Criteria – This filter allows you to refine search results based on Overdue or Rejected status options.

  • Overdue FAs are functional acknowledgements that have not been received within the given time.
  • Rejected FAs are functional acknowledgements that have been rejected because of X12 compliance issues.

After defining the search criteria, click Submit to start your search. You can also click Reset if you want to restart your selection process.

The search results include the summary of the FA transactions based on the search criteria. The search may return 0 results as the AES xChange Operations group is always working with the trading partners to resolve any overdue FAs or rejected FAs on a daily basis. Use the scroll bars and navigational links at bottom of the page to move through the list of transactions returned for your search. The following details are shown for each transaction listed in the search results:

• Partner Name – Name of the trading partner
• Trans Set – Type of transaction
• Account No – Account number associated with the FA
• Orig Trans No – Transaction number originally identified with the transaction
• Create Date – Date of the original transaction
• Create Time – Time of the original transaction
• ISACtl – ISA control number
• GSCtl – GS segment control number
• Ack Status – Overdue or Rejected status
